The high costs of fuel over the past months have had a tremendous impact on the transportation industry. As a result, Aeronet will increase the fuel surcharge from 8% to 10% effective April 16, 2004. This fuel surcharge applies to the transportation charges on all freight shipments originating within the U.S.

Through efficient management and cost reduction processes, Aeronet has been able to avoid increases in the fuel surcharge during the past thirteen months. Current oil prices have now reached record-high levels making it necessary that we adjust the fuel surcharge to offset the added costs. This temporary surcharge will be clearly stated on your Aeronet invoice as a separate line item.
